KURGAN, March 3. /TASS/. The number committed from outside cyber attacks on information resources of the Russian Federation in 2016 has more than tripled, to 52.5 million cases.
“In the whole country last year identified and neutralized over 52,5 million cyber attacks (information systems, Russian Federation, committed from the outside), – said Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolay Patrushev at exit meeting in Kurgan. For comparison, in 2015, they were 14.4 million”.
According to the Secretary of the security Council, the security of information systems of the Russian Federation from cyber attacks, foreign intelligence services remains insufficient and often does not respond to existing threats. “The security of information systems from computer attacks and computer intelligence is still inadequate and in most cases not responding to existing threats”, – said Patrushev.
