In the Scenarios explained the opinion of the Moldovan Ambassador to Russia

Dumitru Brakespeare: Dodon decided to appoint an Ambassador to Russia, his adviser

The decision of the Moldovan government to recall its Ambassador in Moscow, Dumitru Braghis is not evidence of the deterioration of relations between the two countries. This opinion was expressed by first Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Vladimir dzhabarov told “Tape.ru” on Thursday, March 2.

“We have relations with Moldova always smooth, normal. It is a question of the internal political Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, no more”, — said the Senator.

According to dzhabarov, now is the confrontation between the President of the Republic Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Pavel Filip. “He does not hide his Pro-Russian views on the development of Moldova, and Prime Minister Philip is looking to the West towards Romania,” he explained.

The diplomat was recalled to Chisinau on 1 March by the decision of the Ministry of foreign Affairs. Officially, the cause has not yet been reported. According to the newspaper “Kommersant”, the recall of Ambassador to Russia was a response to the tough stance of Dodona against the appointment of diplomatic representatives in a number of countries candidates proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Dodon was elected head of state in the second round of the presidential election in November 2016.
