Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said to journalists on Friday on the question of the possible recognition of the breakaway republics of DND and LNR. According to Peskov, Russian foreign policy is determined by the President of the country.
“According to the Constitution the foreign policy of the Russian state is determined by the head of state, namely the President of the Russian Federation”, — said Peskov.
Vladimir Putin on 18 February signed a decree recognizing the documents of residents of Donbass valid in Russia.
