On Wednesday, the Chairman of the party “Yabloko” Emilia Slabunov appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin a letter proposing to abolish the presidential envoys in the Federal districts. According to its position, the inefficiency of Institute is too costly for the maintenance of the envoys and their vehicles in conditions of crisis. To ensure their core function — reporting to the President of the Russian Federation on the situation in the regions Slabunov proposes to introduce the post of the adviser of the President for the Federal circuit, who will be able to perform their duties without a large apparatus.
“The work on the analysis of the functions of the presidential envoys is underway, including in our Committee. Various suggestions received, we do not dismiss public initiatives, from the initiatives of political parties”, — Azarov told RIA Novosti.
