Kiev will receive new tranche from the IMF

Ukraine signed the Memorandum with the International monetary Fund (IMF) for financial assistance. This means that Ukraine will get new IMF tranche in the amount of $1 billion, reports Reuters citing a source as the national Bank of the country.

“Ukraine signed a revised Memorandum of cooperation”, — stated in the message.

The provision of a new tranche depends on the adoption of the budget in 2017, which will be strictly agreed with the IMF and reform of the banking sector.

Kyiv expects to receive from IMF of $17.5 billion financial aid in total. To do this, Ukraine will go to the new reforms.
