What happens when you cross a cow with a capybara? Takin!
At the end of March at the Cincinnati zoo was born a baby takin. Takin — toed ungulates are mammals that live in the Eastern Himalayas. They are large, furry and funny, and look like a cow crossed with a capybara.
Little takin from Cincinnati was a girl. It was called Meg.
In the aviary, set design, mimicking mountains. And Meg gladly jump on them.
Similar “fake” mountains set in other zoos. In St. Louis (Missouri) on them rest the whole family takin.
