Warsaw hopes for US assistance in filing complaints against Russia in the international court of justice in the case of the Smolensk disaster. “In the case of a catastrophe near Smolensk, we are interested in all help. Technical assistance in investigation assistance in the form of political pressure on Moscow,” — said Waszczykowski. The crash of Tu-154 aircraft of the Polish air force in Smolensk occurred in April 2010. All 96 people aboard were killed. Among the passengers was, in particular, the President of the country Lech Kaczynski with the spouse.
