The Federation Council has developed a draft statement that calls on the international community to condemn the actions of the US in Syria. The first Deputy Chairman of Committee of the upper house of Parliament on international Affairs Vladimir dzhabarov told “Tape.ru” on Monday, April 10, praised the prospects of response from States.
“The instant reaction will not follow. (…) We appeal to the parliaments around the world and we hope to be somewhere heard. Somewhere we ignore, but we are not going to remain silent”, — he said.
In the Federation Council, according to dzhabarov, I hope for constructive dialogue between the U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson and Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (Tillerson’s visit to Moscow scheduled for 11-12 April — approx. “Of the tape.ru”). “We hope that he will clarify the United States position on this issue”, — said the Senator.
