Media: a fire in a football stadium in Shanghai extinguished

The fire happened at about 08:15 local time (03:15 GMT) on the second floor of buildings, where is the gym. For web-hosted videos be seen how from under the roof of the football arena erupted in flames and thick black smoke. According to the fire service, after half an hour the fire managed to localize, and after about an hour the fire was completely extinguished. Information on victims did not arrive.
Because of the fire, the local authorities were forced to close several outlets located near metro station “HONGKOU Football stadium”.

Stadium “Shanghai” is the home arena of the local football team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua (“grinlend Shanghai Shenhua”).
