Driver’s license can be obtained in MFC — a Cabinet
MOSCOW, 27 Mar — RAPSI. The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, according to which the multifunctional centers (MFC) will be empowered to the results received from divisions of the state traffic Inspectorate of driving licences replace previously issued, is spoken in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Also amended, clarifying questions of replacement of the Russian national driving license before expiry of its validity.
The signed resolution Rules for the conduct of examinations for the right to drive vehicles and driver licensing changes.
Currently, the Russian national driver’s license (to replace previously issued) and international driving permits are issued only in divisions of the state traffic Inspectorate. Also, currently, in the case of replacement of the Russian national driver’s license before the expiry of the validity period of the initial fixed period shall not be altered.
Given that many citizens apply for a replacement driver’s license prior to the expiration of its validity, the draft resolution envisages the provision allowing, subject to the provision of a medical certificate to obtain a new license for a period of 10 years.
Clarified the procedure for the exchange of foreign national driving licences on the Russian national driver’s license.
“Decisions are aimed at improving the quality of public services, reducing financial and time costs of citizens when applying for public services, reduction of corruption risks”,-is spoken in the message.
