Also the head of Department of the Ministry of defense of Russia to perpetuate the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland Vladimir Popov said that the unresolved status of this problem is a growing resentment of the Czech side that may entail a heightened symmetric reaction against the Russian war memorials in the Czech Republic. He explained that the administration of Samara region and Samara city do not fulfill the Protocol decision of the joint Russian-Czech Commission of the city of this sign. The meeting of the joint Russian-Czech intergovernmental Commission on military burial places will take place in Samara on April 6.
The Czech Ministry of defense, in accordance with the agreement, annually allocates funds for repairs in the Republic of memorials, cemeteries and individual graves of Russian and Soviet soldiers. Just on the memorial of the Czech sign is supposed to bring the 147 names of the Legionnaires of the Czechoslovak corps, which took part in the Civil war in Russia.
