Unknown poured paint over a monument to Prince Vladimir in Kiev

Moscow. March 19. INTERFAX.RU — Unknown persons poured red paint over a monument to Prince Vladimir the Great in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

“Red paint in Kiev not only doused the monument to Elena Teliga at Babi Yar, so now is the monument to Volodymyr the Great. That in the minds of those who are “at war” with monuments, it is difficult to realize,” wrote an employee of Ukrainian Institute of national memory, Olena Khaliman on the page in “Facebook”.

In the picture posted Halimon, it is clear that the paint is filled with the monument and the pedestal.

Earlier, unknown persons poured red paint over a monument to the participant of the Ukrainian liberation movement, the poetess Elena Teliga, which opened at Babi Yar in late February.

Related pictures appeared in the social network. The photo shows that red paint covered the monument and the pedestal and the area around.
