The Ministry of education and science of Russia proposed to transfer gave birth while training students of colleges and universities for free education provided that they will not have academic debts. The draft order posted on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts submitted for public discussion until 1 April.
New preferential category of the citizens having the right to go to the budget, the document States “women who have given birth to the child during the period of study”.
It clarifies the “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of education, students will be able to transfer to a free form of education only in case if they don’t have tails.
Right now on the budgetary position of children-orphans, invalids of the first and second degree, students who have lost one or both parents during the training period, and those who closed the previous two sessions on the rating of “good” and “excellent”.
Last summer, some media reported that the government may cut 40 percent of the budget places in universities. On 1 August the head of information policy Department Ministry of education and science Anna Usacheva has denied this information, saying that the number guaranteed by the Federal law “On education in the Russian Federation” and cannot be reduced.
