For repeated dangerous driving suggested to confiscate cars, a proposal was sent to the Chairman of the Duma Committee on state construction and the legislation Paul Krasheninnikov. About it reports TASS.
“Such punishment as deprivation of the right of control of the vehicle, may not be sufficiently effective. A more severe punishment is able to provide the best impact in order to minimize the violations,” reads the statement prepared by the President of the Association of entrepreneurs for development of business of patriotism “Avanti” Rahman Anakulam.
He proposed these amendments for the second reading consideration of the bill.
The bill on fines for dangerous driving was accepted by the state Duma in the first reading in January. According to the document, for actions that qualify as reckless driving, the driver needs to pay up to five thousand rubles.
In June 2016, SDA, a new kind of offence — dangerous driving. The term refers to repeated acts of non-compliance to a safe distance or lateral spacing, hard braking in front of the car, undercutting rebuilding and preventing overtaking.
