In the United States experienced a “Hellfire”
The United States experienced a small guided missile AGM-114L-8A Longbow Hellfire.
The rocket launches were conducted from a modular vertical launcher Surface to Surface Missile Module (SSMM) ship LCS 7 Detroit (like Freedom). The Longbow Hellfire missile and the launcher in the version of SSMM Increment 1 represent the third stage in the development of a modular version of surface weapons Surface Warfare (SUW) Mission Package. Full ship trials will begin later in 2017 on the ship Milwaukee. The rocket is equipped with radar homing millimeter band and uses the principle of “fire and forget”.
