Matvienko spoke about the “suicide” ramps for the disabled in Russia
The Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko has called unacceptable the situation with the development in Russia, wheelchair accessible environment, reports “Interfax”.
According to her, often in regions where formal is the construction of barrier-free environment for disabled people to use existing equipment people with disabilities can’t.

The speaker of the upper house of Parliament believes that this situation is largely connected with the absence of a clear system of state control. Matvienko added that to solve the problem should help submitted to the Duma in the end of last year a bill that would allow the government of Russia and the regions the right to determine regulatory authorities in each industry.
