The international committees of the upper chambers of parliaments of Russia and Spain will hold a joint meeting in Moscow to discuss issues of bilateral agenda and international policy, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.
“With colleagues from the Senate Committee for international Affairs (Spain) for one and a half hours discussing very constructive and friendly the entire agenda of bilateral relations and international politics. Time was not enough, agreed to continue in the near future in Moscow in the mode of joint Committee meetings”, — wrote in Facebook Kosachev, who is in Madrid for consultations with the leadership of PACE.
He noted that the practice of discussing issues in the joint Committee meetings “is clearly gaining popularity and momentum”, before such meeting of the Russian senators held with the Committee of the French Parliament.
