The photographer made his beloved proposal under the Northern lights
Perhaps this is the most romantic way to propose. Photographer Dale Sharpe proposed to his girlfriend to marry him in the light of the Northern lights. But this story has a tragicomic backstory.
Sharpe and his girlfriend, Carly Russell, both landscape photographers. Filming the Aurora Borealis, they were engaged in for several years. And sharp has long planned to make an offer in the radiance of heaven spolokhov — like no one before him did not do it, so that such an act would be romantic, and original, reports the Daily Mail.
Dale was going to do this nine months ago, but plans fell through accidentally. Before the trip to Iceland, he hid the ring in a bottle of moisturizer. But at the airport it turned out that their Luggage is “overweight”, so that unsuspecting Carly threw the bottle of cream in the trash. But there was a family heirloom — the ring was worth $4000. Dale discovered the loss too late. But there was nothing.
Had the cavalier for eight months to save money on a new ring.
Finally, at the end of February, they again went hunting for the Northern lights in Iceland, Norway and Finland. One night a heavenly light was so powerful that Dale realized this the same moment.
He was cunning, saying that he was going to make with a friend a group selfie. She did not agree, believing that the human figure only spoil the pictures. But Dale insisted.
Putting a camera on a countdown, Dale approached his beloved, fell on one knee, pulled a ring out (which at this time was still hidden in the first aid kit) and uttered the sacred words. Carly, according to her, did not immediately realize what was happening, and spoke some nonsense.
Finally, it came to the whole drama of the situation and she said “Yes.”
And the camera clicked the shutter. So it turned out a terrific picture, recorded one of the most important moments in a couple’s life.
