Moscow. March 10. INTERFAX.RU — the Government supported the bill to increase criminal liability for inducement of a minor to suicide, taking into account comments terminology and legal-technical nature, said in a statement on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The bill was introduced the day before in the state Duma Deputy Irina Spring.
The bill proposes to toughen the penalties for incitement to suicide or to attempt at suicide by threats, cruel treatment or systematic humiliation of human dignity of the victim, and to introduce higher penalties for aggravated forms of suicide or to attempt at suicide.
In addition, the bill proposes to Supplement the criminal code with new articles 1101 “Inducement to commit suicide or assisting suicide”, 1102 “Organization of activity connected with inciting citizens to commit suicide” and 1512, “Involvement of minors in the Commission of acts dangerous to the life of minors”.
