Basmanny court of Moscow has discharged of a post of the mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev, who is accused of abuse of power, and commercial bribery. On Thursday, March 9, “Interfax” reported in court.
March 8, Pushkarev on his page in “Vkontakte” wrote that the investigation intends to achieve his removal, that he could not put pressure on witnesses.
The powers of the Governor expire in 2018.
Pushkarev was arrested in June 2016 in Vladivostok, after which it was transferred to Moscow. The next day he was arrested by placing in “Matrosskaya Tishina”. To bail or home arrest officer refused, finding that he can leave Russia.
According to investigators, in the period of 2009-2014 Pushkarev organized the purchase of the company “Roads of Vladivostok”, led by his alleged accomplice, Andrei Lushnikov, building materials, the group of companies “Vostokcement” at inflated prices. According to the FSB of Russia, the profits from the illegal activities of the mayor exceeded 160 million rubles. He Pushkarev pleaded not guilty.
