In Russia recorded a wave of influenza B
MOSCOW, 7 Mar — RIA Novosti. Exceeding the epidemic threshold for influenza and SARS noted in 17 regions of Russia, while the CPS captures a wave of influenza B accounts for 60% of all studied samples taken from patients, said RIA Novosti head of the Department Anna Popova.
“On the ninth week on the territory of the Russian Federation was the excess of epidemic thresholds in 17 regions, but it should be noted that it is not exceeded by more than 23% — from 10 to 23%,” — said Popov.
According to her, excess of epidemic thresholds among children aged zero to two years three to six years and recorded among pupils in the same number of subjects is eleven.
“The results of laboratory monitoring in the past week the proportion of influenza B accounted for 60%, and we can talk about the wave of influenza caused by influenza virus B,” — said Popov. According to her, the weight of AH3N2 was only 22%.
The Agency interlocutor added that in spite of steadily reducing the incidence of completely closed leaving 379 149 schools and kindergartens.
