Representatives of the breakaway Donetsk national Republic stated that it had initiated a ceasefire in the Donbass from 11:00 on Sunday. About this told reporters Deputy commander of the operational headquarters DND Eduard Bacurin.
He said currently the ceasefire is observed.
“Now a proposal for a cease-fire across the line of contact from 11:00 today. This is a joint initiative of the our and the LPR. Came out with a proposal to stop the attacks through the representatives of the JCCC,” — said Basurin.
He also said that over the past day the AFU fired at the territory of the DNI 2483 times. Ukrainian security forces used 210 times heavy artillery, 771 times – mortars of various calibres, 294 times – BMP, 1140 times, anti-aircraft guns, rocket-propelled grenades and small arms. The shelling killed two militiamen.
