Some of the detainees in Sri Lanka have accused the Russians of violating the rules of stay

Moscow. March 4. INTERFAX.RU — the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka is in close contact with the migration service of the country for the release of the detained Russians.
“In connection with spreading information in the media reported that the Embassy is in close contact with the migration service of Sri Lanka to resolve the situation and release the detainees”, — is spoken in the message on the page of Embassy on Facebook.
Earlier in mass media there was information about the arrest of nine citizens of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka.
“Part of the Russians were accused of violating the rules of stay in the country,” — noted in the Embassy.
After the necessary inspections by the Sri Lankan authorities, the Embassy will seek the release of all detainees without reasonable grounds.the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka
