“Communists of Russia” has offered the Federal guard service (FSO) and the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation to consider the creation of a Stalin-center in the “near cottages” of Joseph Stalin in Kuntsevo. On Friday, March 3, RIA Novosti reported.
The party leadership sent a letter to the Director of FSO Dmitry Kochnev. The document is available to the Agency.
“We have every right to oversee the creation of a “Stalin-center” in Kuntsevo. Here Stalin lived a long time, receiving visitors, it was meant to be the most important in the country’s history of decisions,” the Agency quoted the appeal the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist party Maxim suraykin.
Work in preparation for the opening of the center and then for its maintenance, the Communists plan to hold themselves. The country will remain on the balance FSO. It is assumed that “Stalin-center” will be operational in the future year when it will celebrate 65 years since the death of Soviet leader.
“This is a very convenient place for Muscovites and guests of the capital to tourists from around the world,” — said suraykin.
Joseph Stalin (Dzhugashvili) was the head of the Soviet Union from the late 1920’s to his death in March 1953. The so-called near Stalin’s dacha was built in 1933-1934. It is located within the city, district “Fili-Davydkovo”, near the Victory Park on Poklonnaya hill. Known primarily as the place of his death on 5 March 1953. After his death, the Kuntsevo planned to turn into a house-Museum of Stalin, however, after XXII Congress of the CPSU from these plans were abandoned. To date, the building is sensitive, protected FSO object. Excursions to the country are not held.
