Russian parliamentarians stated that the situation in Europe and in the world towards Russia is changing. This was stated by Vice-speaker of the state Duma Pyotr Tolstoy on the basis of participation of the Russian delegation in the parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), reports RIA “Novosti”.
“We noted that the situation in Europe and in the world is changing towards Russia. Much easier started talking, became less cliché in terms of what Russia is doing in the international arena,” – said Tolstoy.
In his words, “receding into the past somewhat hysterical tone of the colleagues from the Ukraine, the Baltic States and Poland”.
As reported TASS, the head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky said that the OSCE PA is tired of anti-Russian rhetoric.
“The Assembly is tired of anti-Russian rhetoric. Representatives of a number of delegations said that the OSCE is difficult to imagine without Russia,” he said.
He noted that the Russian delegation, there were calls for finding “ways to contact” and conducting “joint meetings in any format”. This Slutsky added that “this does not mean that Peredelkino magic tumbler from minus to plus”.
“But contacts like never before was constructive and with a human face”, – he said.
Earlier, Tolstoy said he wants to warn European colleagues from the reproduction of stamps and clichés against Russia from the media.
