The Venezuelan President announced the signing of contracts with Russia at $6 billion
Russia and Venezuela signed several contracts worth $6 billion during a visit to Moscow President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, reports AFP.

“Today, contracts were signed to ensure the investments more than $5 billion to increase oil production, with our Russian partners in the joint ventures. In addition, we guarantee the investments more than $1 billion in the mining sector, primarily in gold mining,” said Mr Maduro.
He added that, among other projects, Russia and Venezuela agreed on the introduction of the GLONASS system in a Latin American country. Nicolas Maduro said that this will strengthen and develop the telecommunications system of Venezuela.
The two countries cooperate in the following areas: energy, agriculture, exploration, pharmaceuticals, information and communication technology, nuclear medicine, military-technical and other.
