US Treasury Secretary, said the preliminary agreement with China
WASHINGTON, may 21 — RIA Novosti. Preliminary agreement of the U.S.-China change the structure of trade between the two countries, said US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
At the weekend the United States confirmed the suspension of the imposition of trade duties with China and noted the significant progress in negotiations on trade issues. According to Mnuchin, China pledged to reduce tariffs to “many goods”.
“Structural changes in U.S. trade with China should be part of the framework (agreement),” said Mnuchin the TV channel CNBC.
He confirmed that if the United States don’t get it, they can again return to the issue of fees.
He also said that import duties will reduce not only China but also the United States. According to Mnuchin, negotiations should be realized in the form of binding agreements with companies, including in China.
