Attacked passers-by in Paris, was a native of Chechnya, media reported
PARIS, may 13 — RIA Novosti, Victoria Ivanova. Assailant on Saturday evening at passers-by in the centre of Paris was “a native of Chechnya” at the age of about 20 years, the radio station Europe 1, citing its own sources.
“Police were able to ascertain the name of the assailant in the second arrondissement of Paris, According to Europe 1, we are talking about native of Chechnya, about 20 years of age,” according to the radio station.
It is noted that the young man had at himself no documents, “but investigators determined his identity through fingerprints”.
Earlier, the Prosecutor of Paris Francois Molins said that the police found in the incident a terrorist trail. The responsibility for what happened took the terrorist group “Islamic state”*, noted by the French media.

The incident occurred at about 21.00 (22.00 MSK) in the second arrondissement near the opéra. An unidentified man with a knife attacked passers-by in the area where is plenty of bars and restaurants. In the attack one person was fatally wounded and died. Another four were injured, two of them were severely wounded. The police eliminated the attacker.
