YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, may 8 — RIA Novosti. Bentley Mulsanne confiscated from the former Governor of Sakhalin region Alexander Khoroshavin, who was convicted for corruption, was sold for 6.7 million rubles, reported on the website of the Agency.
“Monday was the auction for the sale of confiscated car Bentley Mulsanne 2012 edition, previously owned by former Sakhalin Governor Khoroshavin,” the statement reads.
The initial cost of the property amounted to 6 million 495 thousand rubles. In the absence of bids in the previous auction, the car was put on auction at a cost reduced from the original 60%, over 2 million 598 thousand rubles.
However, the final cost as a result of trading amounted to 6 million 754 thousand 800 rubles, reports the Agency.
“The money received from the sale of the car in full shall be transferred to the Federal budget”, — stated in the message.
Khoroshavin in February this year convicted of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk city court on 13 years a penal colony with a fine of 500 million rubles for corruption crimes. Earlier, an official in the state seized the property for 1.1 billion rubles.
