In turn, the party of the parliamentary majority — “United Russia”, the Agency has assured that the state Duma would undoubtedly support the President’s choice.
Procedure
Immediately after the inauguration of Putin to issue a decree on appointment of acting Prime Minister in accordance with article 116 of the Constitution signed the resignation of the Cabinet before the new head of state.
A resignation relates only to the Prime Minister, his deputies and Federal Ministers.
The present government is composed of nine Deputy Prime Ministers, including one first, and 22 of the Federal Minister. The heads of Federal agencies and services members of the government are not and remain at their posts.

For example, after retirement in 2004, Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, acting Chairman of the government of then-President Putin appointed Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Khristenko, however, to the state Duma for approval to the post of head of the Cabinet of Ministers has nominated Mikhail Fradkov.
