Friend the ex-President of South Korea was sentenced to 20 years in prison for corruption
A court in Seoul sentenced Choi sung-SIL, a close and longtime friend of the former head of South Korea Park Geun-Hye, a 20-year prison term on a number of corruption charges and “trafficking in influence”, said on Tuesday The Korea Herald.

The Prosecutor’s office demanded to sentence the defendant to 25 years imprisonment, a fine in the amount of 118 billion won (about 109 million dollars) and the confiscation of another 7.7 billion won ($7 million).
Choi sung-SIL refused to plead guilty on all counts against her accusations.
