The Federation Council rejected a law banning contact pritravki hunting dogs
Moscow. 26 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — the Federation Council rejected initiated by the speaker and other deputies a bill prohibiting contact Petrovka hunting dogs on live animals and regulate the operation of pritravochnyh stations, with a proposal to create a conciliatory Commission for its completion.
The paper proposed to change the existing system for the preparation, training (training) dogs and birds for their further use in the hunt for a more humane system that excludes cruelty to animals. According to the innovation, it was assumed that pritravka can only be done through the fence: glass or mesh.
The bill proposes to define requirements for the shelters and enclosures containing wild animals used in training, as well as the procedure for their keeping and breeding. Such requirements will be set by the Federal body of Executive power.
Establishes the requirements in which physical contact between animals will be banned will be banned and all methods involving animal abuse (maiming, injury to animals before training).
The draft law also prohibited to train the dog not belong to the hunting breeds. Thus, unjustified cruelty to wild animals in the preparation of dogs for exhibitions and other events will be suppressed.
The bill also defines the range of organizations that can provide these services: it may be legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who have secured hunting ground.
