ROSTOV-na-Donu, 13 Dec — RIA Novosti. Severo-the Caucasian district military court has sentenced two members of a gang of Shamil Basayev, who participated in the hostage-taking in Budyonnovsk in 1995.
Ramzan Belyalov was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment, Magomed Mazaeva — for 13 years. They will serve their sentence in a General regime colony. They were convicted of the terrorist act, the remaining charges were dropped due to the expiration of the Statute of limitations.
In addition, the court partially satisfied the civil suit of relatives of the victims and sought to Belyalov 300 thousand rubles for moral damage. To Mandevu such requirements are not stated.
