FSB stopped the illegal production of sand in the Crimea
SIMFEROPOL, 13 Dec — RIA Novosti. In Crimea suppressed the activity of criminal groups involved in sand mining on the territory of the former military airfield near the village of bagerovo (Leninsky district), according to the Crimean border guard service of the Russian Federation.
“Caught red-handed at the time of the crime 8 of citizens of the Russian Federation seized illegally extracted natural resources (sand and gravel) total mass of 170 tons, and also used for their extraction and transport trucks in the amount of six units,” — stated in the message.
The operation was conducted by Crimean guards, which established the membership and the individual members of an organized criminal group, as well as the channels and methods of natural resources.
“According to preliminary estimates, the state suffered damage amounted to 23 million rubles”, — stated in the message.
