The satellite of our planet came as close as possible and looked larger than usual. Users of social networks and the media actively shared photos and videos of the phenomenon.

A supermoon is a full Moon, reached the point of perigee — the position where the Earth’s natural satellite, moving in an elliptical orbit, the maximum moving closer to our planet.
During the period of SUPERLINE celestial body will appear 30% brighter and 14% bigger than usual at the time of the full moon.
In addition, the full Moon is usually painted in orange tones.
This winter happens the so-called triple supermoon. The second time, this phenomenon is expected during the night of 2 January and the third on January 31. January supermoon will be accompanied by a full lunar Eclipse. As a whole it can be seen only in the far East.
