Videoconferencing Russia will have to adopt the latest s-350 “Vityaz” in 2019

Air and space forces (VKS) Russia will receive the first time in 2019 the latest anti-aircraft missile system (ADMS) C-350 “Vityaz”. Also in the location of troops will be about ten sets of antiaircraft missile systems “Pantsir-s” and s-400 “Triumph”, said the Ministry of defense of Russia.

“In 2019 videoconferencing for the first time will receive the latest anti-aircraft missile system s-350 “Vityaz”. In addition, it is planned to supply about ten sets of anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (zrpk) “Pantsir-s” anti-aircraft missile systems (WRU) s-400″,” — said the commander of air and missile defense, Deputy commander of VKS Lieutenant-General Yuri Sins (quoted by TASS).

He recalled that in 2018 the s-400 and “Pantsir-s” was delivered to air defense units stationed in the Crimea, the Khabarovsk territory, the Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions and in the Arctic region.

“At the end of combat training of anti-aircraft missile troops in 2018, with units and parts of the SMP, conducted more than 200 exercises at various levels, including 20 combat shooting”, — reported in Department.

The s-350 Vityaz medium-range SAM developed by the concern “Almaz-Antey” for the Russian air defense. The complex is designed to reduce both aerodynamic and ballistic targets. One launcher complex is armed with 12 anti-aircraft missiles.
