Hannover airport resumed receiving and sending planes
Previously unknown rammed a car gate of one of the checkpoints and drove to the airport, but was subsequently stopped and arrested.
BERLIN, 29 Dec. /TASS/. The international airport of Hanover resumed on Saturday, the reception and sending of planes after unknown persons tried on the car to break into tuj territory. It is stated in the statement of the Federal police.
The airport resumed at about 20:00 local time (22:00 GMT). Earlier in law enforcement bodies reported that the perpetrator of the incident was under the influence of a drug test showed the presence in his blood of cocaine and amphetamines. He rammed a car gate of one of the checkpoints and drove to the airport, but was subsequently stopped and arrested.
The incident occurred at about 18:00 GMT. He was delayed or diverted to other airports at least 34 flights.
