The state border service of Ukraine denied the lifting of the ban on the entry of men from Russia

KIEV, December 28. /TASS/ — the Press-Secretary of Department Oleg Slobodyan said that this is restricted, as during martial law.

The restriction of entry to Ukraine to men from Russia at the age from 16 to 60 years persists despite the termination of martial law in some areas of the country. On Friday the correspondent of TASS said the press Secretary of the state border service Oleg Slobodyan.

Restrictions apply as before [under martial law]. In the zone of heightened attention of the border guards are citizens of countries from the category of risk, including from Russia.

Earlier Thursday, the Ukrainian media spread information with reference to the Ukrainian border authority that a ban on the entry of Russian men filmed.

Martial law worked in Ukraine from November 26 in Vinnitsa, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions and the internal waters of Ukraine in the Azov area. It lasted until 14:00 (15:00 GMT) on December 26.

In connection with the imposition of martial law male citizens of Russia aged 16 to 60 years was limited to the entry on the Ukrainian territory. The national security Council and defense of Ukraine on December 26 after the lifting of martial law has retained this restriction.
