Cruise ship changed its itinerary due to a storm and accidentally saved people in the sea

On the eve of Christmas the captain of the cruise ship Empress of the Sea Royal Carribean learned that the way of severe storms expected. To avoid trouble and avoid bad weather, the captain decided to change route. But he couldn’t even imagine that their decision will save the lives of two people.

Ship Empress of the Sea Royal Carribean rescued two fishermen from Costa Rica after they began to drift from 1 December 2018 between Jamaica and Cuba.

Between Jamaica and Grand Cayman team Empress of the Sea received a distress call that was sent with a small fishing vessel, and hastened to help.

As it turned out, SOS signal sent two fishermen from Costa Rica that drifted at sea for almost a month and have already lost all hope of salvation.

The men were told that went to sea on 1 December, and with my network, I fell asleep. Waking up, they found that the wind carried their boat for many miles from the place of fishing. First they tried to return, but they ran out of fuel. Food and water the fishermen had only a week, and by the moment of salvation they were in critical condition.

About miraculous stories of salvation on his Twitter page, said the chief meteorologist Royal Carribean International James van fleet. He noted that now the life of the seamen in no danger, and they feel good.
