Restaurant in Britain will help get rid of smartphone addiction

British restaurant chain Frankie & Benny’s has offered its customers an interesting project. If the parents during the family meal will not use cell phones, they will not have to pay for children.

The initiative was a response to the network conducted a survey about how smartphones affect family Lunches and dinners. It was attended by 1,500 people.

Almost 20% of the children surveyed said their parents prefer to do their business in the phone, not to communicate during a family dinner. 23% of parents admitted that they regularly check their phones during meals, even when their child says something. 10% of children admitted that even tried to hide the phone numbers of the parents during family meals.

“At the time of turning off their phones, parents show that children are important to them”, — said in a press release from the restaurant.
