In Paris during the protests injured at least 65 people
MOSCOW, 1 Dec — RIA Novosti. The number of victims during the protests in Paris had risen to 65 people, including 11 security forces, reports channel BFMTV with reference to the representative of the Metropolitan police Joan Primmer.
Participants of protest movement “yellow jackets” began to gather on the Champs Elysees early in the morning Saturday. The capital to protest against the increase in gasoline prices accompanied by clashes with the police, the police use tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. Earlier it was informed about 20 victims.
According to the latest data, the number of victims during Saturday’s protests has risen to 65. It is noted that among the 11 injured law enforcement officers. At the moment it is difficult to assess the severity of his injuries.
The first major campaign of the “yellow jackets” was held on November 17. The initial demands of the protesters — lowering gasoline prices. However, according to the participants of this movement, they also act generally for the increase in purchasing power. The protest, held in Paris last Saturday, was accompanied by riots.
