As for China, the Pentagon notes that China seeks to steal confidential information from the us government and the “institutions of the private sector.”.
In these conditions, the document says, the Pentagon will increase the defense an opportunity to “break or stop malicious cyberactivity” in time of peace.
In time of war the newly formed U.S. cyber command “will be ready to operate together with the air, land, sea, and space forces” against America’s enemies.
