Model Anna Shapiro, hospitalized along with her husband on September 16 with severe poisoning from one of the restaurants in the British city of Salisbury, called the incident an attempt by the Russian secret services, writes the newspaper the Sun.

Shapiro claims that her father was a high-ranking military in the Russian army, and she was forced to move to the UK after “receipt of threatening letters”.

According to her, she was meant to die after she “turned away from the Motherland.”

While in the British secret service believe that the poisoning may have been used in rat poison.

Shapiro and her husband Alex king was hospitalized on September 16 from Prezzo restaurant in Salisbury. 42-year-old man is in serious condition and fighting for his life, the report says.

Shapiro said that he had found a wife in the men’s room unconscious with frothing at the mouth.
