The Committee of the state Duma rejected the draft disclaimer for reposts
MOSCOW, September 13 — RIA Novosti. The state Duma Committee for security and combating corruption prepared the negative conclusion on the draft law excludes criminal liability for reposts on the Internet.

At the end of June deputies of the state Duma Alexey Zhuravlev and Sergei Shargunov brought in the state Duma a package of bills that exclude criminal liability for reposts on the Internet. The purpose of the bill is to “establish a fair liability for the acts of minor degree of public danger and because they can not considered a criminal offense, for example, “repost” posts and news in social networks and other resources” of the Internet, the authors of the initiative.
The head of the Duma Committee on state construction and legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov said that the Committee will not support the current wording of the draft on the exclusion of criminal liability for reposts on the Internet. The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova, in turn, supported the draft disclaimer for reposts.
