Died the presidential adviser Veniamin Yakovlev

Died in Moscow Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, doctor of legal Sciences Veniamin Yakovlev.

MOSCOW, 24 Jul — RAPE. Died in Moscow Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, doctor of legal Sciences Veniamin Yakovlev.

Benjamin F., born February 12, 1932 in the town of Petukhovo, Kurgan region. In 1953 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk law Institute (Urals state law University).

In 1989-1990, Yakovlev was appointed Minister of justice of the USSR, in 1991 — Chairman of the Supreme arbitration court of the USSR.

From 1991 to 1992 he was the state Advisor on legal policy under the President of the USSR — the head of legal services office of the President. 1992-2005 was the head of the Supreme arbitration court of Russia.

Since February 2005, Yakovlev has held the position of Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation. Awarded the order “For merits before the middle name” I – IVстепеней.
