In the Crimea will be fined for violating the law on resort collection

SIMFEROPOL, 2 Jun — RIA Novosti. In the Crimea will introduce a system of fines for non-compliance of the law on resort collection, told RIA Novosti the head of Committee of the Crimean Parliament on health-resort complex and tourism Alexey Chernyak.

Earlier, the Crimean Parliament voted for an amendment to article 3 of regional law “On resort fee”, which says that the resort fee on-site experiment from 1 may 2018 to 31 December 2022, replacing it with the start date of the experiment on may 1, 2019.

“Due to the fact that our Committee fulfills the question of the introduction of the law on the resort collection on the territory of the Republic, which will enter into force on 1 may 2019, we need to adopt a number of regulations,” said Chernyak.

In particular, according to him, will be amended in the code of the Republic on administrative offences.

“The penalties are provided in respect of legal entities, which try to hide the resort fee and in respect of individuals who refuse to pay a resort fee, thus violating Federal law,” said Chernyak.

Applications for the introduction of resort fees, filed seven coastal regions of the Peninsula: Yalta, Alushta, Yevpatoria, Feodosiya, Sudak, Saki, Chernomorskoe district. The law is expected a fee in the amount of 10 rubles per person per day.

Four pilot regions — the Crimea, Altai, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories — received the right to introduce a fee for the use of tourist infrastructure on their territories. A fee will be charged to adult citizens living in hotels for more than 24 hours. The resort fee by law cannot exceed 100. In 2018 it is limited to 50 rubles. Specific rates and benefits establish regional authorities.
