The court arrested the employee of the Kemerovo MOE Terentyev in the case of the fire in the “Winter cherry”

INTERFAX.RU — the Central district court of Kemerovo on Monday arrested the head of the Department of supervision and preventive work of the regional emergencies Ministry Grigoriy Terentyev accused of negligence in the case of the fire in TRTS “Winter cherry”, the correspondent of Agency “Interfax” from the courtroom.

Terentyev is accused of negligence (part 3 of article 293 of the criminal code). According to the investigation, Terentyev did not plan and did not check, starting in 2017, observance of requirements of fire safety at operation of shopping centre “Winter cherry”.
The defendant also became head of the Ministry of Kuzbass Alexander Mamontov, accusing him of negligence (part 3 of article 293 of the criminal code) and embezzlement (part 4 of article 160 of the criminal code).
Earlier in mid-April in a criminal case, searches were conducted in the EMERCOM of Russia across the Kemerovo region, and in the house of its head, and the heads of structural units.
The case of the fire in the Mall “Winter cherry”
The fire in TRTS “Winter cherry” in Kemerovo took place on 25 March. Killed 60 people, including 41 children.
Only in the case of fire arrested eight accused persons: the technical Director of the SEC George Sobolev, the management Hope Studenok; the head of the company “System integrator”, involved in maintenance of fire alarm systems in the Mall, Igor Polozenko; his subordinate.
Alexander Nikitin; guard Sergey Antoshin, which, as expected, did not include a warning system on the fire; the head of the Kemerovo state construction Tanzilya Komkova, CEO-owner Julia Bogdanova and the head of the fire guard Sergei Genin.
They were charged under article 109 of the criminal code (causing death by negligence), article 219 of the criminal code (violation of requirements of fire security, entailed on imprudence death of two and more persons) and article 238 of the RF criminal code (rendering services not meeting safety requirements).
