The Russian Embassy in the United States was outraged by the article calling to destroy the Crimean bridge

The Russian Embassy in the United States called provocative article in the American newspaper The Washington Examiner, in which the journalist urged Ukraine to destroy the Crimean bridge.

“Freedom of speech cannot justify the call for a terrorist act and murder people. Consider this material as a reflection of the true intentions of a certain part of the Washington establishment, continuing the line at inciting hatred and enmity between Ukraine and Russia”, — stated in the message of the Embassy in Facebook.

Diplomats stressed that such a publication does not fit into any framework of ethics and added that they expected from the publication of the explanation of how this material reflects its editorial policy.

“We remind that the Russian legislation provides for the possibility of criminal prosecution of persons acting with public appeals to terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism, engaged in propaganda of terrorism,” the Embassy stated.

On the eve of the American journalist Tom Rogan in his article “Ukraine should destroy the Crimean bridge Putin” (Ukraine should blow up Putin’s Crimea bridge) for The Washington Examiner [was advised] to Kiev to hit the bridge from the air.
