In China conducted a test of the first commercial rocket in the country
BEIJING, may 17 — RIA Novosti. Chinese private manufacturer of missiles OneSpace Technology company conducted a successful test of China’s first commercial rocket OS-X, according to China Central television.
This is the first rocket entirely designed and manufactured by a private company in China. The launch took place on Thursday at 7.33 (2.33) local time at the test site in the North-West of the country. Flight on a ballistic trajectory was 306 seconds.
Approval of the channel, from the stage of design and development work to launch the company needed only one year.
Launched rocket OS-X Chongqing Liangjiang Star with a length of 9 meters, capable of delivering payload into orbit to a height of 800 kilometers above the Earth.
According to the newspaper China Daily, OneSpace, which was founded in 2015, in may last year signed an agreement with Chongqing Liangjiang Aviation Industry Investment Group to establish their research and construction base in Chongqing.
Base, which will be operational by the end of this year, will consist of a research center, “smart” building and Assembly center, testing center and other specialized laboratories. It is expected that the company will be able to annually collect and test 30 missiles, and the annual income will reach $ 240 million.
