General Director of the Studio GSC_Game World officially announced the game S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2. About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.
“I officially declare: “GSC Game World is developing S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2″”, — he wrote on the social network.
However, he left a link to the project’s website which indicates that the game will be released in 2021. A similar message appeared in the official group of the game “Cossacks 3”, which was also developed by GSC Game World.
S. T. A. L. K. E. R. series of games based on the story “roadside picnic” by the Strugatsky brothers, and also shot by her film Director Andrei Tarkovsky’s “Stalker” and the real Chernobyl zone. The last part of the series “S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Call of Pripyat” was released in October 2009, then in 2010 was announced the second major game in the series. It was assumed that S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 will be released in 2012, but in December 2011 it was announced that the development stopped.
